Rebooting B.I. - A Plea for Pragmatism

Welcome to Analytics-To-Go.

Why are we here? We want to make Business Intelligence more nimble, more on target. 

The "to-go" slogan is inspired by the "just right" focus and the flexibility of take-out food.

When you get take-out food, you want just enough to get full. For that sake, you don't need 5 star Michelin Guide quality, but FDA grade food safety. Good enough, for the moment. Because you will get hungry again, for sure.

That's how business works. We need something quick, because of the need being NOW. If you spend too much time trying to solve world peace, the goals will change, and we need something different. Food can over-cook, get cold, or stale. So do too elaborate B.I. projects & "solutions" that can't deliver just-in-time with "good enough for now" scope.

The principles already exist, individually proven concepts: Agile Projects, Iterative Development, Continuous Integration.

Let's make them work together to put the Intelligence back into B.I.
